Lilacs and Lavender Historic Garden Design and Preservation: My name is Rhonda Chiacchiaro, and the Owner and Design Consultant of Lilacs and Lavender Historic Garden Design LLC, which specializes in the Preservation and Restoration of Historic Gardens and Landscapes. I have four years of education with The New York Botanical Gardens, in the Bronx NY, with ongoing studies in Horticulture, Botany, Arboriculture and Historic Garden Design. I currently hold a license as a Home Improvement Contractor in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. My hobbies and interests include modern and jazz dance, yoga, hiking, kayaking, landscape photography, evenings at Jazz Clubs, and composing songs for piano. I am drawn to and passionate about giving back to the Historic communities through volunteering with charitable organizations such as the F.W. Vanderbilt Garden Association, The Russel Wright Design Center, The Historical Society of Nyack, The Tappantown Historical Society, and Central Park Conservancy
